Searching within a page

You can search within an individual webpage for specific words and phrases.

To search within a webpage:

  • Choose Page menu > ”Find.” (The Page menu is near the upper-right corner of the Safari window, and looks like a page with a corner turned down.)

  • In the search field at the right end of the search bar, type the word or phrase you want to find on the webpage.

  • Click the Back and Forward buttons to reverse the direction of the search. When you’re finished, click Done.

To search a webpage’s HTML:

  • Choose Page menu > View Source to view the HTML code for the webpage. (The Page menu is near the upper-right corner of the Safari window, and looks like a page with a corner turned down.)

  • In the View Source window, choose Edit > Find > Find.
